I think most USBs can handle going through the wash several times.
I have a 1 gigabyte flash drive that’s gone through the wash numerous times in my winter jacket’s breast pocket

Sd cards do pretty well in the wash too. I have even washed my plantronics Blue tooth headset multiple times and it’s always fine.

It’s solid state, in sealed passivation, encapsulated in plastic. The washer won’t hurt it. The first thing to go would be the solder on the USB leads, but you can fix that.
Just keep it out of the microwave.

I’m sure it runs. I did that on accident a few times. My gummi bear porn collection documents were still there and the drive functioned with no problem.
Just don’t shove it into your computer while its wet lol
